Danish Scientologists Bring Truth About Drugs to Copenhagen
Danish Scientologists raise awareness on drugs
Volunteers from the Church of Scientology of Denmark have joined forces to counter drug abuse this summer with massive distribution of Truth About Drugs education booklets.
You can find these volunteers on Strøget, the famous Copenhagen walking street. Popular with tourists and residents alike for its shopping and its ambiance, some quarter of a million people stroll down the street on a typical summer day.
These activities are part of a coordinating effort by Scientologists in communities around the world. This summer, Scientology drug education and prevention advocates are reaching out to teens and young adults in their communities, supplying factual information about what drugs are and the damage they can do.
The Church of Scientology has published a brochure, Scientology: How We Help—The Truth About Drugs, Creating a Drug-Free World, to meet requests for more information about the drug education and prevention initiative it supports. To learn more or read the brochure, visit the Scientology website.
Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard wrote, “The planet has hit a barrier which prevents any widespread social progress due to drugs and other biochemical substances. These can put people into a condition which not only prohibits and destroys physical health but which can prevent any stable advancement in mental or spiritual well-being.”
